Privacy Policy
Earl is a private AI assistant for real estate agents, operated by Earl Labs (“we”). Earl works for the agent who connects it: your data is used to provide the assistant to you, and for nothing else.
What Earl connects to
- Your Google account — with your explicit OAuth consent, Earl accesses your Gmail mailbox (via IMAP and SMTP) to read, organize, and send email on your behalf, and your Google Calendar to read and create events you direct.
- Your CRM — with your consent, Earl connects to your Follow Up Boss account to read and update your contacts, tasks, and follow-ups.
How your data is used
- Solely to provide Earl’s features to you: inbox triage, drafting and sending messages you direct, follow-up tracking, calendar and listing work.
- We do not sell your data, share it with third parties for their own purposes, or use it for advertising.
- We do not use data obtained through Google Workspace APIs to develop, improve, or train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
- No human reads your data except with your permission when needed for support.
Google API Services — Limited Use
Earl’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Storage and security
OAuth tokens and connection credentials are stored on your Earl instance with restricted file permissions, and are used only to connect to the services above. Earl never sees or stores your Google password when you connect with OAuth.
Retention and deletion
You can disconnect your email or CRM at any time from Earl’s settings, which removes the stored credentials, and you can revoke Earl’s access at any time in your Google account permissions. To request deletion of any other data, email us and we will honor it promptly.
